In an attempt to show hubby and I’s fun adventure, I’ve put it to a slide show. I’d planned to do a much more detailed description, but to be honest, I didn’t have the time and recollection the memories were painful. (I”m still itching!!!!)
Oh, and we can’t forget the awesome video footage of the cow….
Or of my husband trying to get me to walk through the woods…
Or when he succeeded..
or the hay field before we reached our destination!
Okay. Stop laughing and thinking how dumb I am now. Yes, I am a WEE bit dramatic *grin*
And that, my friends, was our adventure. All 6.37 miles of it.
Now excuse me while I go to bed and itch my mosquito bites some more.
Krista,
What fun! 🙂 And you came out of it smiling and laughing?! You guys are tough! What an adventure and definitely a keeper for the next story you write!
Nothin' like sum good ol' urban hiking! My brother in law and I hiked the devil's backbone off of the natchez trace on monday. It was at least a good 2 miles and that covered going up some STEEP hills. No cows but there was one baby snake! Oh and LOTS of mushrooms! ..bright orange, white, brown and even red ones.
LOL Jody, yes, we laughed:-) Although now that I've had this posted for a day I'm questioning my sanity! Probably not my smartest move broadcasting pictures of Krista at her VERY worst.
Livewire. *grin* Urban hiking! I LOVE IT!
You're killing me! I tried to leave it alone, I tried going away and not saying anything, but it haunted me all day!
Hubby's and my adventure!
Ahhhh…I can breathe again.
Looks like you had a great time!
Kaye, thank you:-) I thought about that when I wrote that… kinda … *grin* My only defense is that I wrote that blog at like 11:30 at night. Grammar is not king at that time of the night (I get a lot WRITTEN on my books then… they just need a WHOLE lot of copy editing when I'm done! ha!)
