Merry Christmas!

Just a quick note to wish you all a VERY Merry Christmas.

I hope your day is filled with peace and love and remembrance of the baby born 2000-ish years ago in a little stable, who came in order that he might die to save you and me.

We tend to make Christmas about so many other things.

Some of those are good things (i.e. family, togetherness) or are sometimes good things depending on our heart (presents, decorating, ugly Christmas sweaters…..)

But Jesus, y’all.

Jesus truly is the reason for the season, and I pray that we can all keep that reason close to our hearts as we celebrate his birth today.
