A dear, wonderful woman on facebook mentioned today that she was “intoxicated” by love.

Not a man’s love, but just by love in general. The love for others, the love of her heavenly father, and just of all the blessings in love.

Have you ever felt that way? That your heart is just so full of love and thankfulness that you can hardly breathe at the amazingness of it all. It’s an awesome feeling, and one, if I really made myself stop and contemplate life and God and his great love, I’d feel much more often than I do.

Thank you, Melissa, because you’ve made me halt my life for a moment, close my eyes, and bask in the intoxicating love of Jesus tonight, and oh how wonderful a feeling! You are a very special person and wow, God has awesome things in store for you!

God reminded me of this song tonight. I haven’t heard it in a while, and had completely forgotten about it, but wow. That’s all I can say. I just want to turn off all the lights in the house, play this song, and dance with Jesus, to the rhythm of his love. Jesus wants to love on us, intoxicate us with his love, and have an intimacy with us that is just indescribable.

Enjoy, and my prayer is that you too will take, even a moment, to let Jesus love wash over you anew.
