ACFW 2012 is over.

I’m too overwhelmed with everything that I can’t think straight to tell you all about it quite yet. Honestly, there was so much, it might take a few blog posts to share it with you.

But as a quick summary…

The weekend was EXACTLY what I needed. And I think God knew that. I saw God’s hand literally every single day.

Nothing *amazing* happened with my writing.

In fact, the conference was less about the technical writing side and much more about resting in Jesus and remembering not just WHAT I write… but WHY.

I love that people have responded well to what I’ve written. It’s important that my readers like it.

But it’s even more important that I’m writing for Jesus and that it pleases HIM.

There is SO much more I could say, but I need sleep and I need to recollect thoughts a bit before I can relay them to you.

Needless to say, I’ve come back rested, excited, and much more peaceful than when I left.

Love you all, blog readers, and know that even though I don’t know you all, and you don’t always have time/courage to comment, I pray for you and SO appreciate you stopping by. YOU are loved by me AND Jesus, my friends.

Blessings…

-Krista

  4. Krista, I deleted my first comment 'cause I accidentally typed Kristi. Umm…I blame it on not enough sleep. Hehehe…but seriously…it was really nice to meet you at ACFW, even just briefly!

  9. Krista,

I've been following you for a couple of years now (found you through the Hammitts blog) and I don't think I've ever posted a comment. But, I just have to tell you that I was so excited to get my pre-order book a few weeks ago then disappointed because life was busy and I didn't have time to read more than a few pages…UNTIL…last weekend!! I had a rare day where I didn't have to do anything so I read your book all in that one day and I was sad when it was over. I fell in love with the characters and wanted more of their story! I LOVED IT! Congratulations on a job well done! No pressure but I can't wait to see what else you may have in store some day. : )

    Blessings,
    Dana
