My prayer today is that those reading this will have a blessed Thanksgiving. That you will know the peace, love, and grace that comes only from Jesus. That your eyes will be open to the blessings around you, even when at first glance, circumstances may be less than ideal.
Even in a year that has been pretty “good” in relation to some previous ones, I still sit here at times and tend toward a woe-is-me attitude— and occasionally a woe-is-them one when I see others struggling. Life can throw some fierce punches sometimes, that is for certain.
But God is bigger.
God is greater.
God is love.
And for that, I am eternally thankful.
I’m also thankful for divine guidance. My heart has been struggling lately, and God has specifically, almost stragetically, allowed me to see his truth this past week or two.
I am in awe of a God who would be so involved in little ol’ me’s life to take the time to make sure I got those reminders.
And of course, I’ve so very thankful for the family God has blessed me with. My sweet hubby and my 4 beautiful, delightful daughters! Every single day I get to spend with them is amazing, even though I feel like pulling out my hair at times:-) 🙂 I wouldn’t trade a day with them for anything!
Yup, today, I am thankful.
So very, very thankful.
