WOOHOO!

It is a monumentious day!

At church today, we celebrated our denomination being 100 years old. (Church of the Nazerene) I’m not a huge ‘denomination’ person, I’ve been to so many churches and believe that as long as you believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and that He is the ONLY way, that’s what matters. BUT, it was cool to celebrate and be reminded of our roots.

But, there is another ‘100’ celebration today!

THIS is my 100th post on my blog! Which, to me, is a bit amazing since I just started it last November, and wow, didn’t really starting posting regularly until March maybe?

I realize I’m a little scattered in my topics, and I’ll skip a few days then go a few days with regular posts, but that’s the story of my life so I figure why make my blog any different!

But I want to take a minute to redefine my purpose. It’s to serve Jesus Christ. This isn’t just my writing blog. It isn’t about Krista. It isn’t just about a ‘platform’ or a ‘brand’. No matter what I do, may it be for Christ that I serve, for Christ that I write, and Christ that I live.

To remind us all of that, I wanted to post a song that we sang in church today. I cry everytime we sing this, which is pretty big because I’m not a big cryer in church:-)

“In every victory let it be said of me, my source of strength, my source of hope, is Christ alone.”

“From life’s first cry, till final breath, Jesus commands my destiny!”

“No power of hell, no scheme of man, can ever pluck me from his hand. Till He returns, or calls me home, here in the power of Christ, I’ll stand.”

Amen!
