My first series is centered around the theme of online meeting/dating. Jenny Garrett is an introverted, shy accountant who meets a Jack Parker, single dad, in an Internet chat room. After she falls into 'like' with him, she senses she's being followed, and becomes convinced he's an Internet stalker. Her best friend convinces her to take a road trip to find out his true identity, only Mission Jack doesn't go quite as planned... Surely God doesn't give a hoot about Paige Andrews. For years she's scorned Him, but now penniless, pregnant and desperate, she allows Peter Colson, a youth pastor she met years before, to try and show her Jesus love. But is Peter really the same marshmallow-chick lovin' guy she's been chatting with online? Her size may be rivaling that of an elephant, but she determines to find out some answers. With the help of her best-friend and fellow amateur spy, they embark on Mission Peep.
Kat Parker gets what she wants... most of the time. And now, she wants a husband, minus the love part. When Blake answers her ad and offers her the opportunity of her dreams, she accepts. This is everything she wanted, right? A husband who requires nothing more than for her to dress his arm and take care of household issues (aka manage the maid,) a membership to the country club, a no-limit credit card. It's the solution to all her problems! What she learns is that *things* can't fill the God-sized hole in heart, or heal the hurt of losing her parents so many years ago. And what she doesn't bargain for is falling in love with her workaholic husband. But is she doomed to be in love alone? This sounds like a job for... Jenny and Paige? But the two amateur spys have their super powers cut out for them in Mission Superman. |
